Medjugorje Messages to Mirjana

JMJ
AMDG
Once again the Church remains the ultimate source of authority in determining the authenticity of any private revelations including those allegedly taking place in Medjugorje. Because of the personal effect Medjugorje has had in my life I have been very close to these apparitions. And one can really see the sense of urgency of the messages given to Mirjana in her last two apparitions. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to see that the world continues to close itself to the ultimate DIVINE REALITY and accept the Mercy of God. These messages are at least worth considering from a devotional point of view as a call to further conversion.

Our Lady's message given through Mirjana May 2nd. 2009.
Our Lady was very sad. She only gave a message and blessed us.
Dear children!Already for a long time I am giving you my motherly heart and offering my Son to you. You are rejecting me. You are permitting sin to overcome you more and more. You are permitting it to master you and to take away your power of discernment. My poor children, look around you and look at the signs of the times. Do you think that you can do without God's blessing? Do not permit darkness to envelop you. From the depth of your heart cry out for my Son. His Name disperses even the greatest darkness. I will be with you, you just call me: 'Here we are Mother, lead us.' Thank you.

Our Lady's message given through Mirjana April 2nd. 2009.
Dear children, God's love is in my words. My children, that is the love which desires to turn you to justice and truth. That is the love which desires to save you from delusion. And what about you, my children? Your hearts remain closed; they are hard and do not respond to my calls. They are insincere. With a motherly love I am praying for you, because I desire for all of you to resurrect in my Son. Thank you.

  1. I was told by an Oblate Father to ignore unapproved apparitions. However, I am pleasantly surprised to read your comments.

    Thank you :)

  2. I consider it best to understand the Medjugorje messages as a whole rather than in isolation.

While there has always been a sense of urgency with any prophetic message, including the Gospel (for who is to know at what time any of us will be taken from this world by our Heavenly Father), I have yet to read the words ‘hurry’ and ‘urgent’ in any of Our Lady’s monthly Medjugorje messages.

I sense that with Our Lady’s apparitions at Medjugorje the world is opening to the message of God rather than moving in the opposite direction. But maybe not as fast as some would hope for. However we can be reassured that God is in all of this whatever place we find ourselves on the path to meet him.

  3. Please explain to me how the reference 'Here we are Mother, lead us' can be reconciled with the Triune God of the Bible and the fact that we are reconciled to our HEAVENLY FATHER through JESUS CHRIST His only SON, with the third person of the Trinity being THE HOLY SPIRIT? It really troubles and worries me that Christians are so very disunited while the forces of darkness are having a field day around us. If we cannot even agree about the basic idea of the Trinity, how on earth are we ever to stand in unity? UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL

You must not be Catholic or you would understand that the reference 'Here we are Mother, lead us' refers to Her loving guidance in helping to lead us to Her Son. Is it absolutely necessary to involve the Blessed Mother in our salvation - No. But it is an additional grace that our Lord has permitted His Mother to do for all of us. Rather than ask why, we should thank our Lord for the blessings He continues to bestow, some of which are by His Blessed Mother.

  5. I love the messages, they are somewhat the same every month though. I've been watching the visionaries for 25 years and some seem more genuine than others. I love Mirjana the most I guess but I shouldn't have a preference I think. I just do though. But I must say that I wish something that was prophecied or said would happen, would happen already. I'm sorry about that but I can't help it.

  6. Thank you, Timothy, for taking the time to explain, but could you please be so kind as to provide some proof from the Bible for the understanding that our Lord Jesus Christ is at the present bestowing blessings on us by His mother, or that she is in any way to be involved in the working out of our salvation as an additional grace?

  7. After reading the message of our lady and watching the video of Mirjana May 2nd http://salesianity.blogspot.com/2009/05/medjugorje-seer-mirijana-distressed-may.html It was very sad to see her like that. You can see her sadness in her face pleading as if she saying please. We all must pray harder, much harder because time seems to go by so very fast these days and soon it will be gone.

  8. Fellow Anonymous, you are looking for Biblical evidence for Our Lady's role. Maybe I can help. Catholics believe that when Mary was standing at the foot of the cross and Jesus said to her, "Woman, behold your son," and then he said to St. John, "Son, behold your mother," we believe that at that moment he was revealing that Mary, in addition to being the mother of Jesus, is also the mother of all humanity. Just as when the Lord told the adultorous woman, "Go and sin no more," we Christians believe that message is for all of us, not just for the adulterer. Eve was the first woman, who through pride and disobedience brought sin and death. In Genesis the Lord declares to the serpent that he will put "enmity" between the "Woman" (Mary) and the serpent. The woman He speaks of is Mary not Eve, because through humililty and obedience Mary became the mother of Jesus, and therefore, the Mother of all the living. I am probably doing a very poor job of articulating this, but if you are truly inquiring and truly desire to understand - then check out Scott Hahn's book on Mary. He is a convert to Catholicism and is very Biblically oriented. He eloquently explains Church teaching on Mary and threads it all the way through the Old Testament and the custom of the Davidic King placing his mother at the right side of his throne. Or ask the Lord yourself, ask Him to reveal His Mother to you if it truly is His will that she be known. I want to be very clear though, that as a Catholic, my devotion to Mary is not worship. Worship is for the Lord alone. Devotion to Mary is based on admiration and love for her, and the firm belief that her prayers can help us all. God bless you always in your search for the truth and desire for understanding.

  9. Anonymous: You are obviously convinced that the seers of Medjugorje are telling the truth but could you explain why one of the seers was able to see and converse with her dead mother when according to the parable of Lazarus and the rich man this is impossible.

  10. Before our Lord performed miracle one, it was His mother that told Him that the wedding party was out of wine. If he could do such a thing for even the least, how much more would he do for the faithful?
